2025 Leong Centre Symposium: Connecting Health and Education to Improve Child Wellbeing

We are hosting the 2025 Leong Centre Symposium, Connecting Health and Education to Improve Child Wellbeing, taking place on Thursday, October 9 at The Hospital for Sick Children. 

This full-day event will bring together people working across the health and education sectors to explore how equity-focused research can drive better outcomes for all children. Through plenary talks, breakout sessions, poster presentations, and moderated discussions, we will highlight innovative tools, data, and interventions aimed at improving child wellbeing.  

Abstract submissions are open, with priority given to trainees and early career researchers whose work advances child health and educational outcomes. The deadline to submit abstracts is Friday, July 25 at 12pm (ET).  

This event is an opportunity to connect, share, and engage with colleagues working at the intersection of child health and education.
